Testimonials

From the dad of a college-planning student who lives on the west coast of Florida:

Judi,

I just want to drop a note for Barry. He has been a tremendous help to Sweta on her college applications. No matter when we call him, including evenings, late at night, or weekends, he has been responsive and extremely helpful in guiding Sweta’s application essays. On many occasions he has reviewed material on the very same day (within hours!) and provided Sweta his superb feedback. We are also impressed by his skill in understanding the complex subject matters she writes about as well as suggesting necessary changes.

From a parent considering a therapeutic placement for his daughter:

You are a passionate professional, and we appreciate your efforts while we try to come to grips with what appears to be the inevitable.

Regards CB

From a parent who lives in the Middle East:

Thank you Thank you Thank you Judi! I thought I wasn't going to get anyone at the school this early in the morning, and my son was waiting at the gate in London to leave for Chicago. He's already been traveling for hours. I don't like this time difference thing at all LOL!! Thank you again for everything! You are the most reliable person I have ever met!

From local college-planning parents:

Dear Judi,

Bob and I could not be more pleased with the results you achieved for Sari. We came to you during the most stressful time in Sari’s life where it was necessary for her to really give her all — and before she started with you, her confidence was down and she was in shut-down mode. You obviously turned her around and now she is well on her way in life to the college of her choice. We cannot thank you enough.

Because of you, Sari’s brother Max is looking at two alternate research projects for this summer. One is Shoal's, sponsored by Cornell, to which he has already been accepted, and another is Stars, from St. Louis University. Max will tell you about them at your next meeting together. This would not have happened without you. In addition, because of your positive, gentle nudging, he tried out for that special jazz band group at school and was selected as the solo trumpet player. He would never have undertaken any of these activities based on our recommendation; they were only possible because of you!

From a Miami mom of a college-planning student:

I want to personally thank all of you. Please tell Judi how much we have appreciated all of the assistance that AJ and I received. All of you have made our life MUCH easier – especially with all his college acceptances so far! Thanks again. We wish all of you a very happy holiday season and a healthy and happy New Year. I will keep you guys informed as to the remaining applications.

From parents whose son went to an emotional-growth boarding school:

Dear Judi,

At Thanksgiving, I just wanted to say "Thank You" for all you did to help us and Josh to get to the point where he is. He is now in upper school at Carlbrook and loving every minute of it. His grades are As and Bs with an occasional high C, now and then. He busts his ass to try to make honor roll, as part of an agreement Grant made with him. He actually prioritizes to get his work done on time! He is enjoyable to talk to and has just started on weekly phone calls. He is a new person and has actually said he's proud of himself, for the first time in his life.

On this Thanksgiving my family has so much to be Thankful for. Josh being at Carlbrook and accepting Carlbrook is number one!

You deserve the best for all that you do for families like mine. Thank you!

With eternal love and gratification,
Nancy

From the mom of a student planning to go to boarding-school after completing a therapeutic boarding school program:

I am waiting to speak to Jason tonight. If he has truly made his decision about which boarding school to attend after you were able to present us with so many wonderful options for him, then I am very happy. His main goal was to be close to his family (aunts, uncles, cousins) who all live 45 minutes from Cheshire Academy. Ahh! I can breathe!

Judi, thank u so much again for all of this- I truly know I have not been your easiest client, but I have truly been your happiest thru the last 1½ years! — And believe me, I know how hard you have worked on Jason’s behalf.

I can promise you, I will be a lot easier for the college search!

YOU’RE THE BEST!

Gratefully,
Marlene

From a local college planning parent:

By the way, speaking of relaxing, that is why Jordan is coming to you next.  Your services offer so much peace of mind, and for this we will always be grateful.

From the Weiss School:

Dear Judi,

We want to thank you for your excellent presentation to all our parents last night. We had great feedback from the audience. The information and insight you imparted about study skills and helping younger children position themselves for success in life was invaluable to all of our parents and teachers. Please keep us apprised of new developments.
