Every college or university has, or is in development of, some sort of virtual connection for admitted and prospective students and their families. All of them have campus visit pages on their websites, which is where you can find this information.
To give you an idea about what some colleges are doing so far…
Hiram College has been able to make a smooth transition to virtual visits, offering individual virtual visits where prospective students can meet with an admission counselor, coach, faculty, attend a Zoom class in their desired area of major, and also experience an interactive virtual tour led by one of their trained tour guides. As students register for a visit they receive instruction and a schedule for their time on campus as to make the visit experience as seamless as possible. For prospective students who are not already familiar with ZOOM, they include instructions and a link so that they can easily download and install. The link for students to schedule one of these visits is: Hiram College Virtual Tour
University of Alabama is doing a lot virtually, including virtual general admissions information sessions or sessions with the academic colleges: Virtual Campus Information Sessions. Potential students can also sign up for the opportunity to talk one-on-one with recruiters in their area: Meet Your Recruiter.
University of Colorado Boulder has much of the same going on. Everything from 1-on-1 appointments, to college specific videos, to virtual tours can be accessed here: University of Colorado Boulder.
Here’s a great resource to help you “visit” as many colleges as you like, and learn more about their academics, campus culture, and admissions process.
