your student to the appropriate tutor(s) based on learning
style and personality. Sarah oversees our professional teaching
staff and maintains ongoing relationships with parents, students,
and teachers to ensure top-quality service to our client

the natural result of her pedagogy that has touched the lives
of hundreds of students during her teaching career. Most
recently Sarah was the Master Teacher of Spanish at the Nysmith
School for the Gifted in Northern Virginia, imbuing her students
with a love of modern language. As the mother of three, Sarah

challenges parents face in meeting their children’s
rigorous life schedules filled with sports and myriad extracurricular
activities — while striving to keep their children
on top academically.
Capitalizing on her two degrees from Rutgers University — BA
in Spanish and M.Ed. in Bilingual Education — Sarah

a unique set of skills and life experiences to educating
children. With a BS in Accounting from Bowling Green State
University, she started her professional career as a cost
accountant for Goodyear. However, after marrying and giving

career change to become a "homeschool mom" to her
ever growing family. While teaching all her children throughout
their school years. Cathy also took many educational seminars,
including curriculum choice and customization, project design,
critical thinking, motivation, and making learning "delight-directed." Cathy
guided her four oldest children through their successful
college-application process and is excited about following
suit with her three youngest. She is truly passionate about
children and education.
Before coming to Score At The Top, Cathy taught middle-school
math and art at Marathana Christian Academy. Drawing heavily
on her 20+ years of helping her own and other children, Cathy
has an incredible knack for matching students to tutors.
She spends a great deal of time in conversation with parents
to analyze their children’s learning styles, identify
their academic-support needs, and develop a plan for success.
She also works closely with our homeschool families in curriculum
design, course scheduling, and enrichment planning.
Cathy’s close contact with our tutors is a daily event
in Palm Beach Gardens. She regularly discusses the most effective
teaching techniques, the use of supplementary materials,
and creativity in sessions. Keeping in touch withlocal schools
is another dimension of her position as Center Coordinator;
in addition to setting up test-prep workshops and college-planning
seminars on their campuses, she organizes AP review sessions,

the Palm Beach Gardens Center.

Anne
Dichele
Anne shares some college-counseling responsibility with
Judi, focusing on the application process itself — from
guiding students to write application essays that truly distinguish
themselves to reviewing every aspect of their applications.
Anne draws heavily on her own professional writing background
in helping students. She is a playwright whose works have
received national recognition. Her short play, MeetMarket.com,
was produced off-Broadway. Prior to joining Score at the
Top, Anne worked in the public relations field, where she
specialized in producing print pieces and press releases
and creating special events. As a past member of the Executive

singer who has been a member of classical choral organizations
since high school. She has also been heavily involved in
community theater where she has done acting, singing and
producing. In addition, she is an accomplished public speaker.
She attributes much of her success in working with students
to her flair for dramatic presentation.
Anne earned her undergraduate degree [summa cum laude] in
English and philosophy at the University of Hartford and
her master s degree in English from Trinity College. She
has taught college English and tutored extensively in English,
ESOL and Spanish.
Leslie

personal assistant, Leslie brings a wealth of experience
and knowledge to her position at Score at the Top. Raised
in New York City, she attended Boston University and earned
her BS in Communications with a specialty in Public Relations.

included four U.S. Presidents, six Governors and countless
celebrities. In 1997, Leslie relocated with her husband & daughter
to Boca Raton, where she worked as assistant librarian for
the American Heritage School of Boca/Delray.
As a former client who successfully used the college-planning,
SAT-prep, and academic-support services available at Score
At The Top Learning Center for her daughter, Leslie brings
a unique perspective to her position. This, combined with
her knowledge of the educational landscape and her ability
to engage clients, has made her a great asset. Often Leslie
is the first contact clients have with Score At The Top,
and they have found her to be a warm, welcoming and professional
presence, helping them to understand the benefits of relying

heavily involved in debate, becoming the number one female "extemper" in
the country during her junior year.

University of Miami, where she double-majored in economics
and political science. During her four years at UM, Lauren
was heavily involved in community service, chairing her own

economy. As a student living in London, Lauren worked on

wasn’t for her. It didn’t take Lauren long to
find her passion in education. In fact, she describes her
transition to the world of teaching as “one of the
most rewarding experiences I've ever been a part of” and
sees the fruits of her labor in the smiles on her students’ faces
as they improve their grades and standardized test scores.
Lauren especially enjoys guiding students through their college
and boarding-school application essays. Her students find
her creative brainstorming sessions and meticulous editing
to be exactly what they need to write winning application
essays!
During her spare time, Lauren enjoys running, going to the
beach, traveling, and spending time with her family. As a
die-hard Miami Hurricanes fan, Lauren never misses a 'Canes
football game and can often be seen sporting orange and green
attire on the weekends.
