Shiela has been a part of the Score at the Top family for the last few years. She has been tutoring PSAT/SAT/ACT for 6 years. She holds a Bachelors in Science in Biology and a minor in Business Administration from the University of Florida. As a self-proclaimed foodie, she loves to bake and cook and tried new recipes often. She also deeply cares about her students and works hard in every way she can to help them succeed. Understanding that every student learns differently, she uses an individualistic approach when working with her clients. She does this by trying different strategies and plans until a student finds the right fit.
Ilene - ACT Tutor in Palm Beach Gardens
Ilene Kent is a second generation Florida native, raised in Wellington, Florida. She graduated in 2012 from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton with Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Sociology. Ilene joined the Score Academy staff in Palm Beach Gardens in Aug of 2017. Her exceptional ability as a teacher who is able to connect with her students was noticed almost immediately, and Kathy Rogers, the Learning Center Director for PBG, snatched her up to begin tutoring. Luke - ACT Tutor in Palm Beach Gardens
Luke joins us from Watchung, NJ. After moving to Florida to become a professional golfer and, Like decided he wanted a bit more and joined our staff as a tutor. Luke graduated from Cornell in 2017 where he majored in Statistics. Luke specializes in math tutoring for middle school and high school students students. He takes a comprehensive approach to teaching by figuring out how each student learns and assessing study habits. Additionally, he also teaches students how to prioritize time on exams and how to read textbooks properly to help stay ahead in the class.
