Broward School District Lays off 400 teachers

Posted on Jun 25, 2009 12:00:00 AM

On Tuesday, the Broward County School Board voted unanimously to lay off 400 teachers. This will obviously create a gaping hole in Broward County’s public school system. Classes next year will undoubtedly become larger, meaning overworked, underpaid teachers will be pushed even harder to do more with less. This will likely lead to a lesser education for your child. Thankfully, Score At The Top is ready, willing, and able to fill the gaps left open due to the legislature’s recent budgetary cuts. Make sure to book your sessions now to ensure you child stays ahead of the curve instead of falling behind!
