Krista is an experienced professional in all aspects of college preparation. Having worked in the admission office for a "Little Ivy" and as a college counselor at a top private high school in South Florida, she understands how colleges review applications and therefore how to assuage student and parent anxiety throughout the process. She tutors students individually and in workshop settings for the ACT, SAT, and PSAT.

Krista's strengths are honing in on strategies for pacing and answer-efficiency for each student; reading comprehension and English grammar; and the heart of math concepts. Mark graduated magna cum laude from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a BS in Atmospheric Sciences. He taught classes as a TA while working on his master’s degree in Meteorology at Texas Tech University.

Mark has worked at Score at the Top since 2016, focusing on high school- and college-level science and mathematics topics as well as test prep for the SAT, ACT, and GRE. He enjoys working with students to help them learn complicated mathematical concepts.

Michelle graduated with a BS in Food Animal Science from the University of Florida in 2018. While attending UF, she also taught local middle school students through a program called UF Teach, which focused on training STEM professionals to educate students in their fields.

After finding so much joy in teaching, Michelle joined the Score At The Top team as a private school teacher, academic tutor, and test prep instructor in 2018. Since then, she has not only helped many students excel in their science, math, and English coursework, but has also helped many others reach their score goals on the SAT, ACT, EOC, and FSA exams. Currently, Michelle is also the Learning Center and School Coordinator, assisting families with advising and scheduling during office hours.

Dan is an experienced science and technology professional, having worked for over 30 years in the energy engineering and environmental fields. Dan received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. Currently, Dan resides in Parkland, FL with his wife Susan, who is a Career Coach with Lee Hecht Harrison. His daughter Rachel is an EHS Consultant with Triumvirate Environmental in Boston, while his son is a Biomedical Engineer with the Medical University of South Carolina.

For the past 11 years, Dan has specialized in ACT/SAT/PSAT test prep tutoring. Dan focuses on improving students’ study skills and problem solving abilities. Seeking more than just the one right answer, he thoroughly explains to students the fundamental principles of math, science, and English grammar, so they can effectively analyze questions and quickly formulate solutions. He also guides students on how to maximize their energy levels and minimize test-taking stress. Dan is committed to helping students confidently and successfully navigate through the SAT/ACT/PSAT standardized test process.
