TestWise

Specifically designed for 8th, 9th, and 10th graders, our TestWise program focuses on the reading, vocabulary, and writing skills necessary for success on the SAT, ACT, and other required standardized tests students. We created this special program not only to jump-start effective standardized-test preparation, but to introduce specific skills so vital for success across the board in school – and in life!

With our focus on English from the Roots Up, our curriculum emphasizes:

• Reading comprehension

• Active reading strategies

• Making vocabulary fun

• Becoming a “word wizard”

• Writing clearly, concisely, and correctly

• Test-taking strategies

• Critical thinking

• A love of reading & writing

With 1-on-1 attention, students flourish as they build their reading, vocabulary, and writing skills – and their confidence! And you’ll be kept informed about your child’s progress with an emailed report after every session.
